The Tourism Destination Management of Magyarkaniza has been honored. This year, 13 Tourist Tisza Flower prizes were won.
On 27th of February, 2019, a guest house in Martonos was also honored. The facility awaits visitors with centuries-old equipment and surroundings.
Piroska Szabó, owner of a guest house in Martonos:“In the year 2018 we had our guests, we had camps, we received children who were potting. We want to expand in 2019 and beyond, because we can accommodate only seven people. ”
ZoltánFaragó, tour operator in Tóthfalu, was chosen as the best tourist worker of the year 2018.
ZoltánFaragó, tour operator, Tóthfalu:“We have done, we do and we will do a lot. We are constantly developing the tourism offer of Tóthfalu. We are building a Mini Délvidék, or exactly a Danube model. We got a 50x25 meter area from the church, and there will be a reduced copy of the Serbian section of the Danube river with mountains, rivers, buildings, cities, so it's a fantastic project.”
According to KozaRóbert, president of the Tourist Destination Management Center in Magyarkaniza, it is important to highlight those who contribute to boosting tourism.
RóbertKoza, president, Tourism Destination Management: "The essence of the prize giving is that we can show through the 13 prize winnersthe tourism of the village of Magyarkanizsa, so all the tourist offers we have at the moment."
Among others the Magyarkanizsa Spa, the Hurka and Sausage Festival in Adorjan, the 37th International Running and Swimming Marathon, and the Orom mill festival was honored.
